The reliance on traditional tools and techniques may diminish, requiring process improvement experts to develop new competencies in AI. Organizational change is inevitable, with a need for communication and persuasion to engage the workforce effectively in the improvement process.

AI's potential to revolutionize process improvement is clear, but realizing this potential requires a strategic approach. Leaders must reorient front-line workers to these new tools and build trust among process owners and stakeholders. The goal is not just to automate tasks but to enhance the entire process improvement landscape, balancing AI's capabilities with human expertise and creativity.
